Endure and Overload
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
What a blessing and joy it is to be a church; to share in the love and joy of our Lord, to have the support and encouragement of the brethren, and to be able to give and comfort one another. I thank God everyday for the life he has given me and for the plan of salvation which he has revealed to me. We can have strength knowing that God is the victor and he has prepared for us a heavenly abode, a place where there shall be no tears and no pain. As Paul writes we have but to endure these "light momentary afflictions." Let’s always keep that hope, that eternal reward in the forefront of our minds as we deal with the trials and temptations of life, as we interact with one another, and as we make our Christian-footprint on this earth.
This week I have doubled up the Peter and Paul groups in an effort to earnestly reach out to the two people listed below. Please, this week, lets overload both the Jim Everson family and the Cassandra Foster family with love, prayers, letters, phone calls, emails, and anyway you can think to aid them in their times of need. They are both in need of us a church, as friends, as members of the community, and as Christians.
In Him,
Tony
