Sloths & Ants & Christians, Oh My!

“An object in motion tends to stay in motion, an object at rest tends to stay at rest.” That sentence is Newton’s First Law of Thermodynamics. Everyone has learned the lessons of this law at some point. Thinking about motion, immediately a bouncy ball comes to my mind.
