Forgive as God Forgives

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Our God is good and we are so mightily blessed. I would like to share with you today the joy of forgiveness. We read in Colossians 3:13, Matthew 6:14-15, Luke 17:3-4, Ephesians 4:31-32, and among many other places about the charge and transparency of forgiveness. The latter of these verses reads:

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."

I love this particular passage because it contains a wealth of information on how we, as a church - as brothers and sisters, aught to be with one another but it also provides clear understanding into the nature of God. Let is weave into our lives these beautifully inspired words of Paul. Don't let frugal things distance you from one another; Jesus has unified us under one name. Equally as important; don't let YOU get in the way of your own salvation. You are only as close or removed from the church as you let yourself be.

We have a strong community of brothers and sisters willing and wanting to give you their all. No excuse is a valid one. This a message to both the man in need and the man offering help. Let us always be supporting and seeking one another out and let us not shy away from the help of others.

In Him,

Tony
